Sahel Découverte is an incoming agency providing services such as transfers, excursions, tours, hotel reservations, seminars, incentives and rental of vehicles with driver in Senegal and West Africa.
Sahel Découverte is covered by civil liability insurance taken out from Gras Savoie.
These conditions constitute the entire agreement between the client (s) and Sahel Découverte Senegal and have the value of a contract between the two parties.
The prices and conditions indicated are only valid for the period stipulated in the offer. Acceptance of the offer entails, unless otherwise expressly ratified by the parties, acceptance of these conditions.
A deposit of 30% of the total amount of the trip is required upon confirmation, in order to guarantee your reservations. In certain cases which will be specified, the amount of the deposit could be revised upwards. Full payment could also be due for any registration within 30 days of departure.
Unless expressly agreed between the two parties, the customer must settle his services no later than 30 days before departure (date of receipt of payment).
You can pay either by bank transfer (all bank charges at your expense) to our accounts in Dakar, or by credit card for payment by card corresponding to 3% in addition to the total amount of the invoice for the VISA card or MASTERCARD and 4% extra for the AMERICAN EXPRESS card.
In the case of payment by credit card, you must first complete a remote payment authorization form by credit card which will be provided by us.
In the case of payment by bank transfer, you will find the bank details of our agency on the invoice which will be given to you during your travel confirmation to make the payments. Please confirm your payment by fax or e-mail.
CONDITIONS OF MODIFICATIONS OR CANCELLATIONS
Any cancellation or modification from the customer results in the collection of the fees below:
* More than 30 days before the client’s arrival: € 100 administration fees per person.
* From 30 days to 22 days of the client’s arrival: 30% of the total amount of the trip.
* From 21 days to 08 days of the customer’s arrival: 55% of the total amount of the trip.
* From 7 days to 3 days of the client’s arrival: 75% of the total amount of the trip.
* Within 3 days of the client’s arrival and after the client’s planned arrival date or shortened stay: 100% of the total amount of the trip.
In the event of cancellation or modification, the special conditions to which certain air fares are subject will apply.
The customer expressly acknowledges having read the information relating to the chosen trip and which was provided to him prior to the delivery of the invoice.
For your information, we state what is included and what is not included in all of our travel plans. The interruption of the trip or stay by the customer or his renunciation of certain services or benefits will not give rise to any refund or credit.
Sahel Découverte, acting as a travel organizer, is led to choose different service providers (carriers, hotels, specialized providers, etc.) for the execution of its programs. We may be required, when circumstances force us to do so, to substitute one service provider for another, to take a different itinerary or to cancel certain excursions without these exceptional modifications giving rise to any compensation. Under no circumstances can we be held responsible for the modification of a program in the following cases: delays of an airline or maritime transport, cancellation of flights, bad weather, political events, entry formalities and of exits from the territory, any other incident beyond our control. The agency will however intervene to assist and offer solutions to its client, to the extent possible.
Any failure in the execution of the contract, noted on site, must be reported and justified as soon as possible by the customer to the service provider concerned, as well as to Sahel Découverte. Any subjective assessment will not be taken into account.
Any complaint relating to a trip must be sent to Sahel Découverte by fax, e-mail, accompanied by the supporting documents or the written report of our service provider within fifteen days after the date of return. After this period, any complaint will not be taken into account.
The response time may vary from 15 days to 1 month, depending on the duration of our survey of hotels or other service providers.
Any disputes or disputes arising from the interpretation or execution of this contract will be dealt with by the Dakar Hors Classe Court ruling in commercial matters.
